Windmill lakes – UPDATE

Well what an incredible few months for the anglers at Windmill lakes. We have been keeping up to date with our good friends Dave and Sue on this picturesque venue in the Le mans region of South France.With their season being so busy we will be keeping you updated as often as we can with the cracking fish that are held in this venue.

With April – June being the mad rush we managed to track down some of the epic catch reports and a pick of the bunch of some of the carp.

With hundreds and I do mean hundreds of carp being caught month by month its easy to see why this gem has so many repeat customers not to mention Sues incredible food.

This last few months fish to 50+ lbs have been caught with weeks trips containing mixed bags of 20,30,40 and indeed 50Lb carp as well as impressive catfish and huge tallies of smaller fish from the back lake.

This last few weeks has also seen two new 50 Lb carp landed with one being a new lake record of 52-04.
