I will start my introduction with a little bit about myself. I am 37 and have had a family home in Cornwall all of my life but have lived in or visited many places around the world. I am currently at college re-educating myself in the industry of plumbing.
I have been a fisherman since the age of 1 (yes I have had a rod in my hand from very early on!) and have covered sea, fly and coarse fishing but the love (addiction) of carp fishing started 21 years ago when a good friend of mine took me for my first 24hr session. If I remember rightly I landed an 18lb+ common and the rest is history as they say. I have fished a vast number of waters both home and abroad and still enjoy travelling to new or old venues today as I get to meet interesting people and discover new (or new to me) tactics/rigs.
Hopefully for the forseeable future I will be able to share some of my tactics and experiences with you and if this helps any of you put an extra fish or two on the bank I will be happy with that.
